The United Kingdom Ministry of Defense reports that its supplier of black bear fur garments obtains pelts from Canada, and the pelts "come from animals culled as part of a program to manage the wild population licensed by the Canadian Government." The Federal Government of Canada has no such program. If the Yukon Government has a program that corresponds with the UK government's description, request all document relating to the referenced program. All document pertaining to any Yukon government sale of black bears or black pear parts, including their pelts or fur and all documents pertaining to any Yukon Government provision of black bears or black bear parts, including pelts or fur, to any third party. If Yukon permits the trade of black bear products obtained via animal control activities, request any such permits issued and any policy documents related to the issuing of such permits. Timeframe: January 1, 2000 - May 24, 2022.
