This is a joint project between YEC and the Kwanlin Dun First Nation. In June 2023, the Globe and Mail launched a project called Secret Canada, an investigation that includes a national database of completed FOI summaries from hundreds of public institutions.
SecretCanada.com is a free, public service. Globe reporters collected the FOI summaries primarily through individual FOI requests sent to each public body. We’ll be repeating this process every year to keep the database up to date.
The vast majority of large public bodies use a records/data management system to track and manage FOI requests. We are seeking access to the following fields:
1.Identifier: The request number or unique identifier for each request.
2.Summary: The most detailed request text available in the tracking system, be that the full request text or a summary written by an FOI coordinator.
3.Date received: The date each FOI was received.
4.Date completed: The date each FOI was completed.
5.Disposition: The disposition for each FOI (records granted in full, in part, denied , etc.).

The Yukon Government Main Administration building was opened on May 25, 1976. Would like the design plans for the original building and the actual construction of the building, including the materials used, the mechanical systems in place, the designed work spaces. Specifically wanting to know if the building had a humidifier and if it was designed to be an open concept building. It was later partitioned. How were the mechanical systems improved to accommodate enclosed areas? The plan of the duct work installed, and is there a HRV system now? How many offices existed and the number of staff working in the building? Was there a maximum number of people it was designed for?
