Clastic sediment production and diagenesis in selected western North American caves and rockshelters

This dissertation presents investigations into the patterns of clastic sedimentation and diagenesis of coarse clastic sediments at ten caves and rock shelters at sites in the western cordilleran region of North America (Yukon, Alberta, Montana). The author concludes that local and intrinsic features may play a greater role in differences between sites than does regional fluctuation in climate.
