General Administration Manual (GAM): Volume 1

The purposes of this manual are to:

  1. provide standardized administrative policies across government departments, covering areas such as communications, public engagement, intergovernmental relations, and use of government resources.
  2. support consistent governance and accountability by outlining procedures for decision-making, documentation, and interactions with Indigenous governments, boards and committees.
  3. ensure compliance with legislative and ethical standards, including directives on post-employment restrictions, internal audits, and the responsible use of public assets and infrastructure.
