The Anvil Pb-Zn-Ag District is located in central Yukon immediately north of the Town of Faro, 200 km northeast of Whitehorse. Five known stratiform deposits of the massive pyritic sulphide deposit type describe a curvilinear arc in plan view. The district contains an estimated total of 225 million tonnes of sulphide-bearing rock.
