Please provide correspondence, including briefing notes, emails, drafts, memoranda and meeting
notes, related to meetings that took place on September 13, 2022 and October 31, 2022
between representatives from Victoria Gold Corporation and the Government of Yukon. These
meetings concerned Victoria Gold’s water license requirements to build cyanide destruction
systems at the Eagle Gold Mine, specifically around whether housing cyanide destruction within
the mine’s ADR Plant satisfied its water license requirement, when the company’s initial plans
included cyanide destruction capabilities within the MWTP.
Please provide documents and communications originating within the Executive Council Office
and Department of Energy, Mines and Resources, including communications between EMR staff
and Victoria Gold representatives. Please exclude publicly-available regulatory filings, such as
those available through the Yukon Water Board.
