Dawson City/Klondike Valley flood hazard maps - bathymetric data

The Dawson City/Klondike Valley flood hazard mapping study was completed between May 2024 and March 2026. Learn more by visiting the Yukon Flood Hub.

In the Resources section below, you can find the bathymetric data that was collected as part of the flood hazard mapping study.

The coordinates (XY) were collected in NAD83 (CSRS) UTM Zone 7 North, while the elevations are orthometric and derived from the vertical datum CGVD2013, Geoid CGG2013a.

  • Excel spreadsheet with latitude, longitude, elevation and survey codes
  • ESRI shapefile with latitude, longitude, elevation and survey codes, reprojected to NAD83 Yukon Albers
  • Digital elevation models (bathymetric and topographic/bathymetric combined)
  • Multibeam bathymetric LAS point clouds
