The Government of Yukon, Department of Health and Social Services, has procured an
artificial intelligence (AI) – powered medical scribe and dictation solution, Heidi, that will be used by Integrated Health Services (IHS) employees, including contracted
physicians, within the following clinics and any future IHS clinics, currently:
1) Centre de Santé Constellation Health Centre;
2) Whitehorse Walk-In Clinic;
3) Yukon Healthy Living Program;
4) Dawson City Medical Clinic; and,
5) Yukon Midwifery Program.
IHS has selected the ‘Together’ Heidi package, which provides the following
features/functions:
1) Create patient profiles and link transcription sessions;
2) Transcribe clinical sessions or encounters;
3) Dictate clinical summaries and/or letters;
4) Generate AI-powered notes and note templates;
5) Generate AI-powered documents and document templates;
6) Use or create community templates;
7) Create voice styles (configure Heidi’s writing style and level of detail);
8) Add context (document additional information that should not or does not need to be
orally communicated);
9) Select a brain hemisphere (configure the way Heidi thinks when generating notes and
templates);
10) Use Heidi memory (pre-save information to improve the accuracy and quality of notes
and templates);
11) Find and replace information (apply broad changes to like text across generated notes
and documents);
12) Ask Heidi (ask questions or give commands via the AI-powered tool);
13) Email and/or export notes and documents; and,
14) Use Heidi Everywhere (access Heidi across devices/applications).
