The Yukon Government (“YG”), Department of Health and Social Services (“HSS”) has an open contract with the RLDatix Company for the use of their RLDatix Incident Reporting System (“RLDatix”). The RLDatix system will be used throughout HSS to track and manage incidents that occur within the workplace. The purpose of incident reporting is to manage (identify, analyze, and correct) incidents and prevent future occurrences. RLDatix is used by HSS Program Areas/Branches to submit reports for the following incident types:
• Occupational Health and Safety Incidents: which involve HSS Employees only.
• Client Incidents: which involve clients, patients, or other non-HSS Employees.
Each HSS Employee will be provided access to the system for incident reporting. Although all HSS Employees will be provided with user accounts to access RLDatix, the information contained within the system is siloed by Program Area, and further restricted by user access roles, assigned to each employee. Program Areas/Branches will only be able to access information pertaining to incidents which have occurred within their Program Area, and to which their assigned user access roles permits
access. All access to information contained within the system is technically controlled through
the assigned User access role.
