The Government of Yukon is made up of several departments and corporations responsible for delivering programs and services (as mandated by territorial laws) and advancing government priorities (as outlined in mandate letters issued from the Premier to each Cabinet Minister).
In meeting their mandates, Departments and Corporations of the Yukon Government routinely coordinate and host public events. Since 2018, the Yukon Government has maintained a centralized website to communicate upcoming public events taking place across Yukon that the Government is responsible for. eServices found a Canadian company, Simpli Events, that will serve as a platform to allow staff to deliver the service of public event registration, keep attendees up to date on any changes to events, and provide event reminders and/or follow-up communications.
Simpli Events is a free online event management and ticketing platform that allows event organizers to create, promote, and manage in-person, hybrid and virtual events.
