Spotlight is a cloud-based, multi-layered specialized machine learning model that uses clinical information to automate referrals and care continuity plans.
Through using Spotlight, the Yukon Department of Health and Social Services (HSS) aims to
1) consistently facilitate patient triaging and referrals based on the industry standard
Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS), 2) streamline administrative workflows, and 3)
increase capacity for, and timeliness of, patient care through reducing administrative
overhead.
