YTG/Department of Health administered mRNA vaccine from Moderna since the start of the vaccine rollout about a year ago. It's common knowledge that there can be serious, life threatening and even fatal adverse reactions to all covid mRNA vaccines. My understanding it that adverse health effects are noticeably higher in 2nd doses vs 1st doses. Logic would dictate that risk of adverse health effects would only increase with subsequent doses. What concerns with the Moderna mRNA vaccine caused the YTG/Department of Health to switch to the mRNA vaccine from Pfizer for vaccinating those under 18 years of age. Does the Department of Health have any data that demonstrates the adverse health effects evidenced from use of Moderna's mRNA vaccines in children will not affect any of the older groups with the implementation of mRNA boosters/doses? Freedom of association restrictions should be based on sound science rather than a biased personal perception or irrational fear by individuals or groups of individuals in the health department. Please cite the independently validated scientific evidence (preferably peer-reviewed papers) used to institute the latest covid emergency act regarding these specific restrictions: Asymptomatic spread is a concern, restricting the unvaccinated and partially vaccinated from sharing the interior of a restaurant with fully vaccinated customer, will demonstrably reduce asymptomatic transmission when the fully vaccinated customers (or staff) may be asymptomatic super spreaders. Restricting vaccinated customers from going to another table at an eating establishment is an intolerable, demonstrable risk for asymptomatic transmission (fines/jail?) and serving staff going from table to table throughout the entire restaurant is a demonstrably acceptable/lower risk of asymptomatic transmission. Mandating restaurant guests to wear a facemask while being escorted for the 10-30 second trek to their table by restaurant staff is a demonstrably unacceptable risk for asymptomatic transmission when the restaurant staff will personally visit and cater to the same customers (and other multiple guests at multiple tables) throughout their 30-45+ minute dining experience is a demonstrably acceptable/lower risk of asymptomatic transmission.
